Default Spare motor problems

Heya guys and gals,

So when I got Jess she came with an old motor for spares if I needed it. I wasn't sure so I took it anyway! I have been told by the guy who swapped it out it was swapped due to the bottom big end bearing that had gone.

Anybody have an idea of what the heck he means?

Thanks

Tris

A bottom end bearing usually means a crankshaft bearing. Complete stripdown to replace the bearing shell as a minimum - more work / expense if the old bearing has disintegrated and scored the crank.
