Default Sore hands anyone?

I know the whole sore wrist after riding and you can get used to it after time, and reduce it by altering your posture taking some of the pressure off them, but how many of you experience cramped hands after riding extensively? I meen to the point where you don't ride for a day or two and when you hop back on you are greeted with cramping hand pains again? I suppose its from clutching and tight grip? Maybe I am givin her sh*t a little to often or somthing LOL?

The only problem I have is my left hand will get sour after a few hours. It mainly the stretch of my left hand covering the grip and the clutch. It also caused a nice little patch of tougher skin to form on my thumb. But what do I know, I've only been riding for a month

I get soreness in my hands also. Mine, however, is usually in my right hand. I have noticed over time that I'm gripping the right handlebar like I'm going to die at any moment so I'm progressively trying to keep that in mind and loosen my grip which has helped a lot. On long trips though (especially flat-tracking) both of my hands/wrists hurt.

All-in-all I think it comes with the territory for owning a sport bike and not a sport tourer.

Try Gripping the Tank with your legs its easier to hold yourself up with your abs and back.

Thanks guys,

I think I have tried most of the suggestions, I wouldn't be into getting heli bars I don't think?

I think its a combo of giving it to much, a tight grip and a little carpal tunnel in the hands. LOL

Just wondered how many others experienced the sore hands ;-)
