some help guys since we get more hits here..
ok, i need some help here guys. i havent touched the bike since wed. since then its been sitting out side, covered. i live in denver, so it hasnt really rained here and its super hot (90+). well, i went this morning to start the bike up cuz i us.e it to commute to work. started with the choke, it was warming up whil.e i put the helmet and gloves on. i literally went half a mile from my apt and it started bogging at about 3-4 thousand rpm and then died. i pulled over and tried to start it back up. wouldnt start but with the choke on, it started. i couldnt really get it into gear so i clutched it back and forth for a little of the way back to my apt and then it totally died again. this time would not start at all, choke or not. so i walked it back to the apt and tried once again but nothing. i was running late so just went up, changed and left for work in my car. i'm scared to say this but i think i may hav.e smelled something burning when i was on the bike but couldnt be posi tive. what could i be looking at her.e? some background. just had the carbs cleaned and synced about 2K miles ago. at the beginning of the season, i had to charge my battery to get it going, but since then hav.ent had any problems. dont know how old the battery is. i think 2-3 years. could it be the battery? something stuck in the carbs? r/r? any help suggestion would be appreciated.... thanks guys and gals

its weird, but i went home last night. started her up. took her around the block a few times and then went on a 20 mile trip and nothing. it ran fine. no bogging of the engine. dont know what happened.
