Default Smokin Joe 95 charging fail

Its a long story but I`ll cut it short. At the moment I have the stator and r/r link connector (3 yellows on each end) apart. The stator end reads clear to earth and has a reading of 0.6 ohms between cables. The r/r has two points down to earth (-) , the other is clear. I think the r/r is kaput ( been wrong about as many times as i have been right haha )but looking for someone who can either point me in another direction or knows whats wrong from the short bit written above. Many thanks ladz for taking the time to read this and an even bigger thanks if you can help......cheerz

If it's not charging and stator windings have continuity to each other but not to ground, your r/r is bad. It's probably looks melted and your connector may be fried. Typical....

Cheerz for the reply. My connecter was an absolute pain to get apart. The origonal I think. I dont think it had ever been apart before and had become brittle. Probably down to the heat I guess.Yes two of the pins have continuity between them and also down to (-) at the batt` whilst the other is clear. Well I`m going to take the leap and order a new unit. Bet you get them cheaper stateside than this side of the pond. Cheerz for your help and I`ll let you know how I get on once I`ve fitted it.
