Default slippage maybe?

i have a cbr600rr with 3200 miles on it. During cold weather it was garraged and i would start it up atleast twice a week. I took it out and noticed the clutch freeplay was gone. After shifting gears i noticed that the bike still had get up but if i tried to get on the gas sometimes it would slip. The best way to describe it is in my old ss, like having your foot slightly on the clutch where it grabs but the rpms still go up high. It does it in first through sixth sometimes. I would assume it was the cable being that i only put like 400 miles on it last year. what would you suggest?

It shouldn't be slipping with 3200 miles on it. I have a 04 F4i with just over 13000 on it and no clutch slipage. I'm not really sure waht it is though, sorry I cant be much help.

Just take it to a trusted dealer. It's most likely covered under warranty.

when i bought the bike it had about 2800 miles on it. I only put like 400 miles on it but it was the cable guys. Thanks. This is my first bike and I actually went on a limb to buy a sport bike because i never rode at all. So i took my time on a 1 1/2 mile track within a gated facility to leave the basics. But thanks Im still learning.

I got another question. What helps wrist pain. Should i ride with my elbows on my knees to help reduce pain? What is the proper stance?

exercise reduced pain....riding for extended periods of time will show us all we arent in such great shape...stance varies with person....often when cruising im in more of a sport tourer upright position....but sometimes i scoot as far back as i can tuck knees in lay chest on the tank elbows on knees and bring my head down so about half is looking through the screen and thats the best tuck i can muster....works good though just couldnt hold it for an endurance race
