Default Slip-On / No start..........

06 CBR600RR.... removed the stock muffler, & installed new Erion Slip-On. The instructions mention something about a servo motor between the mid-pipe, but there is nothing there and no O2 Sensor on the 06 models.
The bike started, but it was late and I didnt ride it.......... Next day I try to start and nothing, just cranks and smells like fuel. Have checked fuses, gas, disconnect battery, w.t.f.! Anyone out there have a 06 with this problem??

Has fuel, can hear the fuel pump prime and battery still cranks......push starting no good, justsmells like fuel and have contacted Erion and waiting for reply. Should have never sold my 99 900RR, best bike I've ever owned.

Bike is now running...... removed the Erion Slip-On and re-installed the "stock" muffler. The bike started in about 10 sec of cranking.... removed the stock pipe "again", bolt-up the Erion, and took it for a test run.
The Erion sounds good, but the bike doesnt seem to run as smooth as it did prior.... perhaps since I reset the battery it needs a good ride.

You flooded it. Ride it hard and clean out the plugs.

Ran it hard, about40 miles of highway cruising at 85 in 90 degree heat...... about 45 min into the ride, the temp was over 200 and hit 225 when I shut it down. Made it to my destination bouncing around 215 degrees.
The ride home was alot better, outside temp was around 60 and the bike didnt go over 188 sitting at lights. I dont know if this is a result of the Erion Slip-On, or perhaps the 06 CBR600RR is a lemon. Either way, this bike is a disapointment and with all the advancements these 06-07's have, my 99 CBR900RR was by far the bestsportbike I've ever owned. This new generation of plastic and computers sucks. Should have bought a Busa!

have you thought about taking it back to where you purchased or just buying a new exhaust, and contacting the company?

I first called the tech number on the instructions, which is NOT Erion Racing, its some other company that plays middle-man. They couldnt help me, and gave me Erions Tech number..... called and had to leave a message, someone called me back about 30 min later saying they talked to the "mechanics" and they couldnt help me either. Told me to take it to the dealer.
I called my local dealer who first asked if I deleted the O2 Sensor..... then told me they couldnt help me over the phone.
Next call was to someone with a 1000, who said I had to unhook some cables and wire open a valve in the pipe.
Bottom line is, I paid 350 bucks for a slip-on that made my bike run crazy without explanation, Erion Tech Support is a joke, and now I may have engine damage from overheating.
Didnt mean to insult anyones bike, Honda has always been my favorite, just frustated about this situation.
