yup, i did it on my 02 f4i. i have a two brothers slip on, all i did was remove the muffler, remove the rivets from the emblim, (drill them out) remove the rivets from the end cap holder, measure down to the desired length, i cut mine down so i had enough space to rivet my emblim back on, then either sawsall or use a cutoff wheel to chop it down, drill holes to rivet the end cap back on using new rivets, and rivet the emblim back on for a custom look- bout an hour and looks pretty trick!

I have a cut down D&D on my F4i that was annoyinglly lowd and have repacked it and stuffed enough steelwool into it to get a desired sound.

I cut down my 2bros Carbon 5" with almost no "real" difference in sound...not too tough.

shorty exhaust for a 03 CBR600RR? It's through the undertail so you couldn't shorten it that much w/o going to far into the tail and start melting stuff. If not you would need to get a custom mid pipe to compensate for the difference in length. Why do you want to do this?

Winner! I so forgot about that part! I personally hate the look of a round can in place of the stocker anyway.
