Default Shop Rates

Can anyone tell me what a reasonable shop rate is for a professional aluminum welding/fabrication shop is?

I'm got to do some different things on my bike and need to know what I should be expecting when looking for someone to do some work for me (on my frame).

There was one shop that I called - they quoted me $99.50/hr.

However, when googling, they were one of the only shops that seemed to do more than just structural construction job stuff.

With the kids going crazy, I didn't really get a chance to call anymore shops, so I was curious if this was a middle-of-the-road kind of rate or if it was highway robbery.
