Looking for info on wiring up a shift indicator on my 02 CBR 954 . the unit is a Acumen DG8 4 wires from shift indicator Black -Ground ,Green -neutral, Red -Power , Orange-Speedo , Brown -Tacho Please help

 

looking at thier website, they don't offer one for the 954. they only offer it for a few different models. I would assume this means your bike doesnt have the proper system to run the indicator. they say on the website its a plug and play harness that is supplied, which again, tells me your bike may not have the proper equipment to run the indicator.

I would at least email them and ask them.

Yeah, thats not a "just build your own harness" kind of project. Your bike doesn't have the proper sensors in the first place. What you COULD do is build \ install \ wire your own sensors for it, which would be totally bad ***, but I don't think that's what you were hoping for.

 

After doing some research, as long as you have the Acumen DG8 with the Universal harness it can be done.
