Default Sharpie instead of paint

I laid it down this afternoon, I have small rash on the right fairing, broken mirror, skinned knee, bruised ego. My friend also dropped his 3 day old 06 gixxr in the same intersection. :-(

Do you think a black Sharpie will cover the rash? They aren't deep scratches. Are there also black polish that can hide the scratches? I don't plan to replace the fairing until my riding/confidence improves.

I just ordered frame sliders so future damages will be limited to bruised ego only.

www.Colorrite.com is great; their customer service is top notch and their products are high quality too. I think you need to get at least the aerosol can and primer. Just sand it down, prime i, paint it, and finish with a clear coat. Since your bike is black, it should be rather easy to get a nice finish.
