scorpion SR-I500 qestions
well i picked one up cuase i thought it was a worth while investment.
1) does the battery on your key fob need recharging every day? i imagined it to last at least like 3 or 4
2) where did you mount the alarm?
3) will my motorcycle cover trip the perimiter sensor?

I had one of those and I got rid of it. I hae 3 problems with it so I got my money back, FYI. I got the Internatrix from the Site Sponsor.
As for the questions, The key fob battery lasts a while. For the internatrix, I have never recharged it. I mounted the alarm speakers the seat on the sides (plactic triangles) You could put them anywhere though. In the air ducts, above them, they are pretty small. The cover WILL set of the sensor. Any movement will. On the alarm I have now, it is too seperate features. Shock sensor is one click and then the shock sensor and perimeter is two clicks.
I am not trying to stear you away from that one at all, I am just recommending you to look into the Internatrix alarm. Its $150 SHIPPED with two remotesand it works GREAT. No Problems. Just a thought

I've got the same alarm, it was already installed in the bike when I bought my bike. I've never had any problems with it. To answer your questions:
1) My remote alarms runs on a AAA battery, so it lasts awhile for me.
2) Alarm was mounted in the trunk under the passenger seat.
3) Cover will most likely trip the perimeter, but not the shock. The perimeter sensor is really sensitive, so if I park it next to a wall it'llgo off sometimes.I usually just armit with the shock only.

RE: scorpion SR-I500 qestions
i wanted to put it in the truck so that some one couldnt just take the seat off and rip it out. i just wasnt sure if every thing would reach.
i live in an apartment and unless its raining the bike goes with me so i guess here its better to leave the perimiter sensor off.
i got the shock proof water resistent remote.
