I think it would look like crap, but that's just my opinion. But, I also never understood why someone would paint a bike/car/truck flat black (or any other flat color) unless they were trying to hide a really uneven pannel or bad prep-work. Personally, I prefer my finished surfaces to be polished and glossy.

I've thought about using it on the inside of the fairings as a noise damper and
to clean up the repair-signs (fiber-glass and bondo). I could see it on the frame,
that would add a hip look, imo. But, I'm gonna weigh in on the majority, I like a
gloss, to show you meant it. I can dig it for the details, though.
