Resistor for LED tail light

I'm having problems getting my new LED Tail Light to work on my CBR 929.
Here is what I bought:

https://www.flyncycle.com/ProductDet...tCode=WRELED04
And here is a sketch of how I "think" I'm supposed to wire this thing. I'm hoping that someone out there can validate or point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

Ive never used that style resistor. Most resistors are only needed to spliced into the power wire, then the other side of the resistor is grounded to the chassis.
The ones you have look like they require a hot and a ground to attach to them. Meaning, run the ground and power wire into the resistor on one end, the out to the blinker side of the tailight on the other.
Your drawing is a little confusing as it looks like you ran both blinkers from one resistor. You need one resistor for each blinker. So you need to have 2 resistors, not one.
Having said this. If you don't have led's front turn signals, I wouldn't even put the resistors in. The faster blink rate is easier to see. If don't have stock front turn signals, then you will definately need to use some sort of resistor.
