Default reserve fuel indicator

last night I almost run out of fuel. Riding back from a bar, I was looking for a petrol station,
only to find all of them were closed. By the time all four segments of the indicator were flashing, I found one and refueled.

Is there any other indication on the screen after this stage or does it just run out?

what bike are you guys talking about? My 05 600RR only has one flashing bar at the bottom when I'm low.

What?!?! Mine doesn't even have a flashing bar! It just starts sputtering on me telling me to switch to reserve! But, then again, mine is a 91.

nice... all the RR's have is a flashing bottom bar that tells you... you have about a 40 to 50 miles to go (one gallon)

Not preaching but riding is dangerous enough. Riding back from a bar is not a good idea assuming you were drinking.

what... you don't get 40 to 50 mpg? If I ride very, very sensible (like when I know I'm low on fuel... I can go 50mpg. Wait, that was before I changed my counter sprocket. I'm sure I'll still get 40 mpg. What's your mpg chian?
