yeah it pretty straight forward how it looks. just remember when you put the new one on that big adjustments are made at the engine case side and small adjustments are made at the clutch hand lever. pull the cable off gently cause the is a spring loaded mechanism in the case. you dont want to pop that off or you have to take the cover off to reset it.

I don't know how your bike is set up...but on my f2 there are two adjustments...at the clutch lever...and right before the end of the cable on the engine end there is a fitting that the threaded part goes through...a bolt on each side and adjustments are made there...don't make it too tight...and don't make it too loose....you were probably used to a stretched cable before it broke....you want about an inch of free play at the clutch lever tip, make major adjustments at the engine end of the cable...minor ones at the clutch lever

about an 1/8 inch of free play is measured at the end of the cable going into teh lever. Or where the wire comes out of the tube you should be able to see about that much free play before it starts to engage. Lone is talking about how much at the end of the clutch lever.
