I just bought my first bike, an 96 F3, and I want to eliminate my rear turn signals and license plate holder to get something a little more sleek. Is there a clean and safe way to remove everything back there but the tailight? Thanks....

ive got a 95 F3, thats the first thing i did. i just took some pliers, cut the turn signal wires down as close as i could to the light, pushed them back up in the plastic above the flare, then took a sawzaw and cut off the black plastic right about an inch below the paint. You might want to mark your cut with masking tape or a marker, then just chop it off. I bought some aftermarket lights at my dealership, drilled the holes, and mounted em right to the black plastic where the original turn signals dropped down from, wired em up and your good to go. For the license plate i just marked and drilled two holes on the rear of the plastic, and bolted it on. It took me a little more than an hour. If i had a camera i'd show u pics, sorry
