Default Regulator/rectifier upside down?

So I just got a 92 cbr 600 f2. My regulator rectifier went out. I ordered one from ebay and after a while of looking at the picture I noticed that if mounted on my bike the writing on it would be upside down. The prongs are exactly the same so I think it would still plug in, what I'm wondering is would it still function correctly if it was upside down? It says it fits 91-00 f2 f3 f4 is this part gonna work?

Would it cause any problems if the bike was started for a very short period with the regulator rectifier unplugged?

Wow! Doesn't sound too good. Was there an earth lead to mount or was it earthed through the body of the R/R? Was it a standard OEM R/R or aftermarket?

And I think there is only one way to plug it in so that shouldn't be the problem.

It grounds from the back of the r/r to a plate on the frame someone did say its not oem, and I just found out that the battery terminal is loose and is causing the bike to die, I'm gonna replace the battery and see what happens
