Default Red F1 Light! PLEASE HELP!

Ok i just started my bike up this morning to go for a quick ride. My Red F1 light came on so I turned the bike off and pulled out my owner manual. I have a copied manual and the of course the pages that talk about the indicator lights is so faded I can't read it. So i waited a second and started the bike again hoping that the light wouldn't come back on and I could go for a ride. Sure enough it did and it flashed twice, pauses then flashes twice again. and so on. Does anyone know that this means? Please help!

I rode it all day yesterday and it ran fine. The only thing that has changed between yesterday and today is I put a new LED tail light on it. But i don't think that would do it. It would be nice if it was something that simple.

jump the connector and get a code. it will be a series of flashes. the code will help guide you in the right direction.

there is a diagnostic connector that needs to be jumped to start the fi light flashing fault codes. on my 929, its on the harness along the frame, under the seat. f4i may be similar, but i'm not sure. i can download a manual if you dont have one, and look it up.

2 blinks loose or poor connection at map sensor hose, or faulty map sensor.
