Rebuilding and selling crashed bikes... a cool hobby?
I wonder what it would take to buy and re-build crashed motorcycles... I have lots of tools, a Pit Bull stand, and a very strong mechanical aptitude.
Plus, I love working automotive stuff.
Who knows, maybe I could make some money on it? I figure that we're coming up on the silly season, where folks buy bikes then crash them. Maybe some deals are to be had?

I'd say that I would have to know a bit about the bike's previous state of condition before I could offer money on it.

And I don't own them long enough to form an attachment like I have to my shed full of bikes...........
And absolutely view it as a business, the business is to buy a machine, clean it up/repair it and sell it at a profit.

check with your insuranc company(s) as well, a lot of times, in ontario, (and i think for the rest of canada) if a VIN gets written off no company will insure it, they write it as salavage for parts only.
for a while, the privince of quebec didnt play that game so people used to buy cars and bring it to ontario.
so yes, check to see if you can do it and get papers for it
