Default Rear axle torque

Hi,

New here. Im starting to try and do more work on my bike myself to keep it affordable. I need to adjust the drive chain tension. I understand the principle.

How much torque tension do I need on the axle nut when I tighten it up?

Thanks

Probably in the area of 70 ft lbs. Someone here could probably tell you exactly what the spec is if we knew what year make and model bike you were asking about.
