Default Ram air !!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, any of you gurus, ever fab up ram air, on anything??? Got a 94 1000f, and if nothing else...I want to pull cooler air, instead of that super heated, enclosed bodywork stuff. Do I need to presurise the float bowls too??? On cars, this automaticaly happens. I'm hope'n ,that enclosed body work helps out any potential carb iceing problems. maybe a simple form fitting piece, from the air box opening, thru the side panel, to the out side edge of the fairing, and around the corner, forword, an inch or two.. I'm think'n(hope'n!!!), it shouldn't screw up the lower speed mixing, too bad. I dont think i need too large a surface area, for the air intake opening, as the stocker , is only about 5sq ". I'm not look'n to go tunnel ram size scoop here.

I was reading a artice about a race bike from the 80's, resurfacing, w/ a home built small snorkle ram air, before it was stock, on alot of stuff. the fun part, was when the bike/engine was pre race tech dynoed, to establish stockness... the ram is nonfunctioning... but add some speed on the track... and it "came alive". They mentioned, that earlystage tuning bugaboos, lead to presurising the float bowls. seems like this might be tricky to "get right" I think they said it was good for 13-17 hp, at speed!!!!!!

I KNOW... plumb the float bowl vent take offs and presurise 'em w/ Nitrious!!!!!!! Once the bowls were pump'n, it would back feed to the air box!!!!! Sickman's dry system,w/ prerichening circut. Sound's like a BBQ, wait'n to happen. !!!!!! And why can't I behave???!!!!!!! Clean and free,(but still, sick and twisted!!!!) Ripp'n
