Default Quick question that search couldn't answer

Just bought all the stuff for my 16k mile mega-maintenance marathon on my F4I. I was wondering once I get the new chain and sprockets installed is there any sort of break in period with the chain? Will I need to lube it more often for awhile until it really get's worked in or is it just like a properly adjusted chain you lube every gas tank or so? I figured since the chain is essentially dry it may require more lubricant until there's at least a little bit of permanent residue or is this nonsensical logic? Thanks for any replies.

There's nothing special you need to do to a new chain for break in, and you don't want any "build-up" on the chain because dirt sticks to it and creates a grinding paste type of stuff.
A clean chain with a shot of clean lube is the way to go. Every few hundred miles and check for adjustment.

+1, it doesn't get any more clear than that.
