Default questions about an F4i

I'm looking at an 01 600 F4i that supposedly has a bad "throttle position sensor".
1st question: Is that the same part as a "bank angle sensor"?
2nd question: Is there a special procedure to replace this or you just unbolt the bad one, mount the new one and plug it back in?
Any info or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

the bank angle sensor is a completely different part than the throttle position sensor...the tps should be mounted somewhere near the throttle bodies...if it's placed anywhere like it is on the f3 it will be on the left side of the bike. i have never replaced one on a bike but if it's anything like a car it is going to have to be unbolted, placed in and then set...someone with more experience will have to chime in for the exact procedure to set it or I would think you should be able to find it in a service manual...shouldn't be difficult though

Good thing is after checking it all out the only thing I think at this time is the positive cable was bad loose. Not cutting out so far.
