Does anyone know if it is possible to convert the headlamp on my 2002 f4i to have both sides of the unit lit on main beam, I feel it looks like there is a bulb out as the right hand side is for high beam only. thanks Ian

 

Many have tried, few have succeded.
Best way is to retrofit a hi/lo projector kit but that is fairly expensive.
I saw a way to do it on another forum but a couple months later everyone that said they did it had there headlights short out.

 

It's possible but not worth it. I always ride with my bright on and problem solved of "Your headlight is out"

 

I've had several people say "your headlight is out". Its annoying but the look of one light has kind of grown on my, I don't know how to explain it. You *could* change it, but like the other two posters said its a lot of work.

 

Thanks folks, well that confirms what the bike shop told me about problems that can occur after conversion..... Leave as is me thinks!!!!
