Default Q: Best way to clean tires?

Any specific products you guys use? Oil and all kindsa things are gathering on the sides of my tires, and Honda for some reason chose not to clean my tires when i took it in for service.

Thanks,
TooL

I'm a simple sod when it comes to my bike tires -- soap and water. And armor-all is not an option. I don't want anything slickery on my tires.

I agree, stay away from chems that are slippery. Scrub the tire with good old fashion soap and water. If you use some sort of cleaner, make sure you rinse the livin' day lights out of them and let them dry completely before hitting the road.

Note: Be careful just after it starts to rain if you have used anything other than soap. The chem could not take likely to the tires and road but will take you to the hospital.
