Power issues on a 98 cbr600f3
The exact parts I have on that got it working (it's not how it came from the factory) are parts 50, 27, 35, and 36 in the 2nd diagram and the tube that's opposite that of part 10 in the first diagram. The way I actually have it set up is part number 2 in the Pair Solenoid Valve diagram (which is the hose connecting the intake to the filter) connected to a reducer that goes to 3/8in tubing that splits off at the T and goes to the two Ts on the carbs. If you're doing it DYI without any Honda tubing, it's about a 5/8th in tube coming off the intake on the left side that you'd then need to reduce to 1/2in then 3/8th in which you can then split and run under the ducting to the two Ts on the carb. With barbed fittings, the only hose clamp you'll need is maybe ones on the T splitting the 3/8ths line and the 5/8ths line that comes off the ram air intake. As for the connection to the Ts on the carb, I just have friction keeping them on because it's too tight for a zip-tie/hose clamp because Honda uses some special super low-profile ring clamps for it.
