Default Powder Coating Rotors

My friends and I stumbled over a powder coater and have been doing some stuff on my bike. I want to coat my from brake rotors, but it got us thinking. We weren't sure if the time in the oven to curewould end up warping the rotors (the powder we use cures after 20 min at 400F degrees). Does anyone have any experience with this?

Leave the rotors alone, these are performance bikes and need to be treated as such.

I've had major issues with a similar thing - bought a bike, and it had a serious brake shudder up front. Rotors had been painted. Had the rotors checked, no problem.
Problem was the paint - it was a couple of thou thicker in some places than others, making the rotors run off centre !! I ground off all the paint - problem solved !!
Stay away from paint or powder coating the rotors

I think you're safe powder coating your rear sprocket, but leave the rotors alone. You will diminish alot of your braking if you paint them, the uneven paint surface will make it more difficult for your pads to grasp.
