Default Powder coat question

Hey guys, new member here. I had some wheels powdercoated for my 954rr and the guy did a pretty decent job masking stuff off (bearing holes, threads, etc) however it is not perfect, such as where the rotors will sit, there is a little bleed through or unevenness. A few other small spots could use some attention as well. I am trying to avoid headaches after assembly and wondering if anyone here has any experience with this. I was gonna try some emery cloth and just hit the spots with that until i am satisfied but thought i'd ask for advice first. I attached some pics so you can see what i mean. Overall i am satisfied with the results just wanna touch up a few spots before assembly

@rob954 Hi and welcome to the forum. They look good from here. Not really overlapping the machined surfaces. Sandpaper is going to be hard to keep flat, and will likely roll the edges of them. Use of a sanding block, or even a sharpening stone maybe. Even a flat file could be used with slow movements.

Thanks for the response, and the welcome! I was able to sand it down with a sanding block and various grits of paper and am satisfied with the results. In the corners of the rotor cleats i was able to chip it off with a sharp razor blade. My first go-around with powder coat

The wheels came out really nice. Tell me about that tank cover. I don't think I've seen anything like that before.

Thanks. It's a brand called Top Sellerie, a French company. Very nice fit, and feels comfy when riding. It has the clips for a tank bag as well.
