Default Please help

I am running out of Ideas.I bought a cbr f3 1996.the guy I bought it from could not figure out why it would not start after he cleaned the carbs.I found that he had the fuel pump hooked up backwards so that it was pulling gas out of the carb.so I put in new lines new filter, and new plugs as well as new gas.it started right up like a champ.I let it warm up and revved it a few times to make sure the throttle was not sticking, good to go let it sit and run for a few minutes then shut it off for the night.next day tried to start it up to take it around the block and it turns over just won't start. I am getting spark and compression.how do I know I am getting enough gas? Ps battery is fully charged

I think its just a process of elimination. My thoughts though, could be the engine got flooded. My F3 is a temperamental beast & if I don't follow normal start up procedure, she don't like it & can end up like yours. Can you hear the fuel pump ticking when you try to start her up? Try to start without touching the throttle, choke on & don't turn the fuel on till she's running (that's my SP).

When it was running I felt the pump running.the plugs aren't dripping only residual fuel when I pull them.I pulled the plugs and turned the motor over to clear the cylinders and put it all back together and nothing.

Is there fuel in the bowls?? Crack open one of the screws and see if fuel drips out.

How do you know which way the fuel pump is supposed to go? I am checking everything on this bike to see what is wrong with it? I cant find it anywhere in the manual.

I looked up the schematic online top hose goes to carb and bottom goes to tank make sure the filter is between thetank and the pump and the arrow is pointing away from the tank and towards the pump
