the tires on sale, are regular T spec Diablos. they are not comparable to PP 2CT's. if you read close, they are stock tire for Beulls. good price, good tire

From what I have read and understand, the Corsa's are comparable to the Pilot Powers, and the Pilot Power 2CT's are comparable to Corsa 3's. These Diablo's aren't as sticky as PP's or Corsa's.

There aren't regular Corsa's, at least not on the Pirelli website: http://www.pirellityre.com/web/catal...hicleType=MOTO

I'm pretty sure the Diablo's are in the same class as Pilot Powers, Diablo Corsa III to Pilot Power 2CT, and Dragon Supercorsa to Power Race.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm new to this whole tire thing

I noticed that the 1000rr's come with a Pirelli and it appeared that they were dual compound. What tiresare they? Even though they come stock, are they a good choice for a replacement tire? My buddy is going to try some of the higher end Pirelli's. We aretyringto see which one out performs the other.

Cycle Gear is having a sale:

http://www.cyclegear.com/sizzling-saturday.cfm

A set of 120/70/17 , 180/55/17 for $159.99!!

$10 shipping + CA taxes (for me), totals $183.19 SHIPPED for a set of new Pirelli Diablo!
Yeah..someone announced this in another site/forum a few days ago...about 10 minutes after I ordered a new set of Viper Sports for the same price.

And I have always wanted to try some Pirelli's but back in the 90's they were outrageously expensive. Today they are reasonable and at that price...

Oh well...

Thanks for the heads up! I ordered mine today 120/70/17 and 160/60/17 for $172 after tax. But they want $20 a tire to mount and balance, and that's off the bike.[sm=boosign.gif]
