Pgm bypass
Does anyone know if I can bypass the pgm go on 2017 cbr300r to an old school gravity feed. I want to rid the bike of electronics, I know it's not normal, but I really do not want electronics on the bike for several different reasons? Help would be deeply appreciated. I have went so far as to get rid of the instrument panel and ignition by adding a 9volt battery, new switches for the headlights and fan but I'm stuck on the pgm fi
you cannot bypass it.
If you want to remove it, you will need a wiring harness, the carb, the intake manifold, the airbox and a fuel valve AT LEAST from a similar size, similar power single cylinder engine that will fit. I suspect you will spend lots of money, and countless hours getting this stuff installed, and then you will fiddle around for countless more getting it running half as good as it runs factory.
Honda fuel injection is very good and works exceedingly well.
If I were you, I would put the bike back to stock, sell it and buy an older bike with a carb.
