when we ride like jerks, we're ok...if we ride like the responsible attention to detail careful riders that we really are - we damned near get killed! ;D
treat everyone like the are about to shoot you dead and
ride with confidence as if none of them know what the hell they are doing.
Couldn't agree more. I tend to pass everyone up and not give them the opportunity to not see me.
Today I tried doing the "right" thing and stop & go along in a traffic jam like everyone else. After about 3 min. I noticed my temp gauge, and got sick of moving 10" at a time. Couldn't help it, jumped on the shoulder & rode right past it; slowly but steadily.

The joys of the northeast. The Irish aren't ****** are they? (I think I'm Irish).

And yes, I use the power and manueverability to stay completely away from everyone whenever possible, and when in close quarters I make a spectical of myself so everyone is aware I might do something crazy. Weaving and reving works. But mostly, I just try to be GONE.

I've taken to doing this in stop and go traffic too, weaving around in my lane like I'm waiting for the start flag at a nascar race. Noticed people have backed a little off since doing it.

When the flag drops... I'm out. Love that my bike's flat spot is gone now

Yep. I've noticed that staying in one spot for too long= invisibility to people in cars.

Alot of the time , the buggers pull way over to let me through too...
Interesting. That's one sneaky secret weapon you have there.

My mom told me my whole life that we were "Scotch-English" and after I was about 30, she whispered to me "I think we really might be Irish." WHITE skin and almost black hair, cheap drunk. I'm guessing Irish.

I've been to Tampa/St. Pete's a couple of times. I guess I didn't spot you.

wow, thats a pretty impressive tally, i wasnt even counting the cell phone users, reminds me of one.......im riding behind this guy, he has one of those mid 80's 5.0 mustangs.....drops his cellphone.....slams on the brakes to get it, i almost hit him, window was open so i yelled HANG UP AND DRIVE, so then he tries to start chasing me.......and gets pulled over, couldnt believe there was a cop when i needed one
