Default Overheating problems thermofan

I just got my cbr 250 and its having over heating problems the thermo fan behind the radiator isnt coming on is there any troubleshooting or repair ideas going around

Look to see that there isn't any thing jammed in the fan blades. If that checks out ok, take the bike battery and connect it directly into the fan. What I mean is disconnect the battery from the bike and then unplug the fan. Push something that fits securely into the connector (paper clips have worked well for me). Then take some wire andattach it metal pieces you have protruding from the female end of the connector. Next, attach the other end of the two two wires to the battery, it should turn. Look over wire diagram to check for thePOLARITY by the way andBE careful not to short out anything.
