Default overheating issues

Hey, had a pretty bad highside at the track and had to replace ny radiator.... now nt bike is overhearing, was riding to school and when I was moving fast the bike was good but still a little warm but wgenstopped the bike got up to 250 and there'd light came on.... I thought it was thermostat but that isn't changed with the radiator correct?? Any ideas what it could be?? Don't think the fan is spinning either.... ill give you moreinfo when I ride home.....

Well if your fan isn't turning on that is a huge issue right there. My fan on my F4i turns on at about 220 to keep from overheating.

I am aware lol but I feel like it could just be a simple fix likeva sensor or something??

Well a disconnected/damaged thermostat can be an issue as well as the fan. If you get your fan working, and it is still overheating then it's def a tstat issue I think.

Thermostat is located by the pump which is by the kickstand correct?? Bike is a f4i....

if your fan isn't working it could be just simple plug or fuse..

Default check your hoses

If in a rebuild you pinch your hoses it can restrict coolent flow. It does not take much at all. If you have a fairing barely presses up against it it will restrict it enough to overheat it.

I don't think you've got much to worry about with a pinched radiator hose. When it gets hot, the system is under pressure and those hoses will get rock hard. You can look at this post, I think it might help you troubleshoot your cooling fan. It's for an F3, but they work the same.
