Is it Ok to Disclose Bike VIN to Potential Craigslist Buyer?

I'd accept a cashier's check if I was standing in the bank that issued it, and having them cash it for me as we completed the transaction. If a person really is getting a loan for a vehicle, the loaning bank is NOT going to give the borrower cash.
OTOH, a bank is not generally going to loan money on a vehicle without dealing with the seller in some direct way. If this would be an unsecured loan, the bank wouldn't care, and would give cash.
Personally, I kinda expect there's more to the situation than what that latest message says (no need to go on about how some other deal fell through, if that is not an impediment to the deal you're talking about now). Shouldn't hurt to follow up at least initially, though.
