Default Oil flush

Ok changing my oil, and I'm trying to decide on synthetic or stay with petrolium I know the synthetic is better, ...but if I change over from petrolium do I need to flush the old petrolium out ? do I have to change the oil twice to get the old stuff out with synthetic as the flush the 1st time ?

Good choice on oil... yup, generaly... just change it. I use Scheafer... they sell a "nutralizer" to flush w/... cheap at 2.25$. to add to your old oil, for a bit. Then drop and add syn.I use there simi syn at 4.25$/qt... killer stuff !!!!!!! they said anything short of super HP and Racing conditions, semi/syn, is totaly up to it.

The directions should be on the bottle, but usually you add the neutralizer to the petroleum oil. Then you ride the bike for a few miles (maybe 50 or so) and change the oil.

How much of a difference is synthetic? I suppose it would be unnecessary on an F2?

Can I get this neutrelizer at like "Napa Auto" parts? I live in a semi rural area, nearest honda dealer is over an hour away down the mountain. "mickey" just want to put the better oil in my 14 yearold bike not sure if it's actually mech better , but I guess it make me feel better that I'm doing something good fer the bike

Yeah, Napa, Advanced, AutoZone, etc all sell stuff like that. It will be back by their oil and gas additives.
