ok at my work we sell types of lucas motorcycle oil. syn and normal of most all weights.
what wieght should i use? the po put in 1040 but guys at work said 1030 syn will work fine. and we sell k&N & wix filters. so i was thinking wix oil filter and the 1030 syn. need to know b4 tomorrow morning so i can pick this up.

i would goto a bike shop but work times and my transportation atm is limited. till i get this bike running.

also wondering about wix air filter, fuel, and spark plugs we sell autolite and ngk.

I'd personally stick with a 10-40 moto oil. As far as filters, wix is a good one.

Air filter... I've been using emgo because they're priced right. I see no reason not to use wix if you can get the right one.
On the plugs.... I like NGK. I use them in pretty much anything I can, and haven't had any issues. However, I just put autolites in the Magna because that's all I could get on short notice. Is what it is. I've heard people swear by every one of the plug manufacturers.

+1 I wouldn't put anything heavier than a 40 weight in my bike. (i.e. 10w30)

I use 5w40 Rotella T6, but the 5 part is pretty irrelevant since that is the cold viscosity and is really only relevant for cold starts in very low temps.

I personally use a PureOne oil filter and a K&N air filter (simply for the unlimited usage) but I've heard great things about wix oil fiters and BMC air filters as well.
