The Pureolator filters are up there in quality.

* Purolator Pure One PL14612, about $6.
* Mobil M1-108, about $12.
Made by Champion.
* Bosch 3300, about $6.
Made by Champion.

STICK WITH STOCK!!!! never ever ever put another oil filter on your bike!....or atleast that's what the stealership screams....though i have seen a few blown engine's from a ****ty oil filter....12 bucks is worth the piece of mind, dont cheap out on your bike, in my opinion stock with everything is alway's the best for the health of the bike,

99-07 CBR500/F4/F4I/RR, CBR929/954/1000RR, 02-07 RVT1000/RC-51, 02-07 VFR-800 all those bikes use the same oil filter from the factory

yeah, just like Honda says it's GN4 will last 6000+ miles in the engine...

don't be fooled, the Honda filter is a $3 filter that they markup 400%. pureolator pure one has been found to be superior in both construction and filtration efficiency, both single pass and multi pass. it's $12 because it says Honda on it.

actually it's $12 because it's assembled in the USA... and because it says Honda on it.

I just stick with Honda stuff (filters, oil, etc.)

Plus, I change my oil every 2000 miles or 3 months, whatever comes first. To me, the frequent changing of the oil and filter is what matters more.

On your filter? I just put a Honda filter on my bike last week, and I'm almost positive it said "assembled in USA" on it. I could be wrong, and I can't check because my bike is now in the shop...
