2 tools, 20 min, no fairing removal. Drain plug with wrench and filter with wrench. Then fill back up. Place an type rag or whatever on the headers, if you wish, to catch oil coming out of the filter. Easy and quick.

Awesome, I am running lucas racing oil 20w-50 because I run the hell out of my bike. I always run k&n filters, all the guys who race the mini sprints with 600 motors sware by them and the lucas oil.
