Default Oem cct

I've seen alot of posts about replacing the CCT with a mechanical one. How many miles do people get from the original CCT. I have 25000 on my 98 600 F3.
Thanks

Replacing the OEM (self-adjusting) CCTL with an APE manually adjusted one is primarily dependant on the amount of noise it's making, and not related to mechanical/performance issues. People will start noticing a rattling sound, thus they replace it. I've read of folks who's CCTL start making noise in as little as 5K; some don't experience it until 20K. Average would probably be between 9K ~ 15K. Mine was swapped at 12.5K.
