Odd electrical problem????
I have a 2005 Honda cbr600rr with only 3000 miles on the clock, it starts first time when the engine is cold but once I’ve switched the bike off (at a petrol station for instance) when I go to start it again it’s as if the battery is flat and won’t turn the starter motor and I’ll have to abandon it. Strangely if I come back later in the day and try again it will start first time with no assistance as if the battery has charged back up. Also when I first start the bike the automatic choke seems to rev the engine far too high (about 3000 rpm for the first minute or so of running, it didn’t used to do this, possibly related? The battery is fine, if its alternator related would it cause this? This is a new one for me. Any ideas? Cheers, Steve

We have about 2,000 Steve's here now , including me and you :D That is a weird problem ...maybe she possessed  J/k If the choke was stuck and she was reving too high from cold , there is a chance that once warm she is flooding internally and that can cause them to not want to turn over till they dry out ...?
