Default No start, no fuel prime

Hey all,

So I ventured out into the cold last night to try to be cool as I went to my girlfriend's house. When I got there, I used the cutoff switch to kill the engine. I normally don't do that unless I've dumped the bike. When I went to leave, the bike just would not start. It's been starting fine all winter so I doubt the cold had anything to do with it, and before you ask, the cutoff switch was put back to on. I grabbed a buddy's jump starter and was able to get enough juice for strong turnover when I hit the start but never able to get it running. I noticed that the fuel primer is not cutting on when I turned the key to the on positron. I tried starter spray, checked my fuses, and now have it hooked up to a trickle charger but as I said, juice doesn't seem to be the problem.

Anyone have similar experience?

Update: I messed with the cutoff switch while the key was on, moved it slowly from on to off with pressure on the switch and lo and behold, the fuel pump kicks on. I then moved it back to fully on and the pump cut off. Put a lot of pressure on the switch while in fully on and the pump cut on again. Jimmied it a bit more and the pump seems to cut on normally now. So how do I clean this infuriating **** that stole an entire Saturday from me?
