Default No power to fuel pump!!!!!!!

Hey guys please help!!!! So I put a new exhaust and changed valve shims on my 929 recently and after putting it back together I had no spark. After shock wire connections and finding nothing I pulled the harness off and checked every wire. Well I ended up finding that my zener diode at ignition was readin 10 volts not 9 so I figured that was my problem. I order the new diode and I decided to use a 9volt battery to see if I could get her to start. NOPE!!!! After putting the harness back on the bike my fuel pump won’t prime. I hook it to battery and it primes so I know it’s good. I have no power going to it. All my relays are good. But I only have power going to one side of the the plug. And that’s only when I use a jumper wire on my engine start relay. I’m completely stupmped . PLEASE HELP

Have you insured your ground is good?
also how did you verify that your relays are operating correctly?

so what I did was hook up the pump to a battery and it started priming. As for the ground I wired it directly to a ground and nothing. I’m getting .078 volts to the fuel pump . I’m getting none to the fuel cut relay unless I have a jumper wire in the engine stop relay. Also, my powercommander was not getting power unless I had the engine cut relay jumped with a wire from the bigger red and white to black wires. The smaller red and white wire wire I’m getting no power to. I tried it with the powercommander out and still nothing .

I’m sorry I read that wrong. I thought you said how do I know my pump is working. I hooked each relay up to a bather and tested for contuity . They all work

Any idea if your fuel sensor light works?

yes I get the light on the dash . But only when I have the engine stop relay jumped.

If you have to jumper around that, is your lean angle sensor bad?

I have my lean angle bypassed. I just put in the new zener diode and I’m getting 9volts like I’m supposed to. When I grounde my blinker wires out to my frame it sparks a little bit and then the dash lights up and the fan turns on. Also there is a black and white wire that goes fro engine stop relay to fuel cut, the injectors the sparks plugs and a couple other things but in the manual it connects all of theese and then goes to the ecu. But I don’t have a black and white wire in my ecu. I think my problem lies somewhere in the black and white wire . I have continuity through the wire but it’s the only wire that connects to all the components I’m having problem with. I’m loosing my mind man!!!

Yea, I saw that b/w wire and considered it to be a possibility. It's odd that you don't have one. Looking at the diagram the following all have commonality to that wire: coils/plugs, Pair Control Valve, Purge Control Valve, O2 Sensor, Fuel Cut Off Relay, Fuel Injectors and stop Engine Stop Relay.
In the absence of the b/w wire, I would check each one of these components to see if there is a common color combo and start there.

alright sorry for the delay, I did have the black and white wire. For some reason I didn’t see it until I pulled the whole harness out. Well I think I found the problem. There is a orange block in the front of the harness, holds all the ground wires and all the black and white wires. 3,4 of the green wires were melted.so I ended up soldering all the green wires and basically making my own ground block and did the same with the black and white and made a power block . HOWEVER, I got my new diodes I was waiting on since my old one blew, 3.9 volts 1/2 watt , and it is NOT dropping 3 volts! In fact it’s not even dropping a whole volt. It took 6 of them solderd together to get to 9.3 volts!!! So I got a 12v to 9 v adapter and that will fix that for now. I haven’t had a chance to put it back in the bike yet , I’m going to try and do it tomorrow. I hope it works man I don’t see why not. I literally checkered every white. One thing I can say I’m nervous about is i did find the black wire. I have continuity through all components but there is no power leaving the ecu on the black and white wire. I’m not sure what controls that or how to go about testing it. Thank you for your response by the way I appreciate it!
