Question No headlights, please help.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated. I currently own a 2001 929 and am having the hardest time with the headlights. I went to leave for work and mysteriously I have no lights. They don't work at all. I do have blinkers, and tails, but no headlight. The indicator on the gauge cluster does not light as well. I replaced the switch thinking that maybe that was the issue, but to no avail. All the fuses on the bike are still intact so that isn't it.
Any suggestions from the guys that have had issues like this before? Seems kinda odd that the lights just went from working one day, to completely gone the next. Thank you in advance.

look close at the headlamp fuse. make sure there is power on both sides of the 20a fuse. then check for power at the bulb connectors. further than that, check the bulbs. an overcharging system can blow all the headlights.

you need to check the fuses electrically, not visually, to make sure they're good. but i think its more the connections than anything else. clean them and make sure they're connected correctly

954's have the same problem. the connection for the front headlight and gauge is in an area that gets a lot of moisture from rain and dirt - its only a matter of time before the connections need to be cleaned

Those are good ideas. Would they make my hi-beam indicator not work as well?

Now I have LEDs all over the bike, and a week before this they completely stopped working. (problem still not located, but priorities and the weather kept me from analyzing any further).

Check for power at those places. That information will be very helpfull to help you trace this down. You have power at the battery, but not at the bulbs. We need to find out where it gets lost in between. Its could be just a connection, a fuse, a bad wire, switch, bulbs, or anything in between. Follow the voltage....

Power to the Headlights passes from the fuse block through the Starter Switch, then onto the Dimmer Switch and Headlights. Since both High and Low as well as the HB indicator are not working, I'd be taking a close look at the Starter Switch. Broken solder joints are a common problem on Honda's.
