Firstly - welcome to the CBR Forum Brett,

If I can ask a couple of questions.
Did you hear the bike running before you bought it? How long did it sit before you bought it? Can you see any rust in the fuel tank?

It may be a blocked carb or filters and it may even be stale fuel. A bit more information and we should be able to point you in the right direction to help get it running.

Cheers, SB

bikes that sit for a long time can even have water in the carbs (i know from expirience). all you need to do is start elimating things.

fuel/air - carbs

spark - plugs/coils/wiring

that's all a motor needs to run. so start eliminating things to narrow it down.

Additionally...

Get yourself a copy of the factory service manual & refer to the troubleshooting section.
