WOW! $225 shipped for a set of PPs is really good. How'd you swing that deal? I'd be down in getting a set. If you take the tires off yourself and just bring them to a shop it won't cost too much, maybe $20-30. If you bring the whole bike in then it'll be a little more.

the 2ct is a track geared tire...you don't need those on the streets. the PP is more than good enough for the street and up to intermediate track level (slower of the mid level).

as far as mounting...it could cost up to $30 per tire depending where you're at...so shop around!

When I got the nail in my tire a few months ago, I actually took my bike to friend at the local Yamaha dealership. (they're known for their great sevice department). Took the bike down and had them install my rear tire (which I ordered online). They charged me $35.00 (the normal fee, not the "friendship" discount). If you have two tires installed and balanced, it's $45.00.

But as Tahoe said, shop around. But be careful. Don't take it to "Joe Blow's Tire shop" that doesn't know how to work on your bike. Take it to a trusted place that confirms they work on Honda sportbikes.
