Hello all, I'm Dustin from Nashville TN...
I found this forum cause I am searching for an answer to my suspension problem, but i don't want to be that jackass that starts posting stuff when I have no idea where to look. I have been loooking on google and every forum possible but i can't find anything like it.
Basically, I bought the bike with 20miles on it (honda cbr 600 f4i) and the suspension is completly compressed, the tail is basically all the way down and the suspension will only make a horible squeeking sound. I used the wrench and adjusted the preload like the guy from the shop i bought told me to do, but it doesn't seem to change anything. I have asked all the people i know that ride and none of have any idea what is wrong. if someone could point me in the right direction to post or see similar issues that would be great.

Welcome to the forum.
I'm moving your post to the tech section so you will get some answers. This is just a welcome/hello section.
Do you have any pictures of what you are talking about?

Some pics would help, would make it easier to determine if its lowered a lot, or actually something wrong with it. My first advice is take it back where you just bought it, sounds like a problem they should be fixing for you.
thanks guys, i brought it back up to the dealer again and talked to the manager. He then brought the bike back over to the service department, this time they actually took a closer look at it and determined that had in fact been lowered. so finally after weeks of reading calling and trying to figure out what to do i finally got an answer...
so apparently there is one more notch that it can be raised to i can't imagine it making much difference, so i plan on buying the stock parts (which i thought i had). According to them it would cost about $45 for the part and $70 for labor. if i want to get the best ride possible moving away fromthe lowering kit should i go stock or is there a better solution?
