Default New front Bearings and now wheel too tight

I replaced my front wheel bearings on my 93 600f2. Now it seems to get way to tight. Should this even be possible? I put in the the collar and retainer gear gear box. Now for the rhetorical part . . . I looked on Motosports OEM page and saw some shim damping things, well, my front wheel never had these when I took it off. So do I need to get them and is this the reason why it gets tight real fast? Thanks all.

Hi! Are the brake calipers back on the bike or is the wheel tight on its own without the brake calipers? Also did you fit the spacers onto their original sides of the wheel? Difficult to diagnose without seeing the bike, but if the brake calipers are back on, make sure it is not just the pads that are binding. Get back to us when you have checked.
