Default Neutral switch help!

Help! When I first get on my bike it starts fine. I can ride to town, about 13 miles, kill it and when I go thur the normal routine of puttin her in neutral and puling the clutch lever,,Thad darn thing won't start. I can let it cool down and it starts right up. Grr! Could it be the neutral safety switch? Any ideas? I don't have the instrument cluster so I don't know if the light would come on when its in neutral.

If it was your neutral switch, you would still be able to start it in gear with the clutch pulled. What does your battery read when the bike is hot?
