Need a slip-on for my 05 600RR
Ok - now that the wife has her CBR600F4i with a sweet sounding Yosh pipe, I can start shopping for a new pipe for my CBR 600RR.
I do commute with this bike - 110 miles round-trip - so I don't want to go deaf or have to wear ear plugs, but I do want a nice deep sounding muffler on the bike.
The 2 Bros M-2 oval canister is on my short list. Is it going to be too loud for my uses? Are there some better sounding/performing alternatives?
Thanks in advance.

The whole purpose of a slip-on is the sound. If you don't want it loud, then there's no point in getting a slip-on. It won't give you much performance gains, if any. 2 Bros is an awesome choice, I myself an looking at the M-5. The Yosh is also a great pipe. To each his own.

I am not to enthusiastic about anything Two Brothers. It sounds like a flowmaster strapped to the bike, its really loud at idle, and it just doesnt have that superbike sound. Two of my friends currently have a two brothers exhaust (F4I and RC51) and i've heard many here and there.
If you like the Yosh on your wifes bike get one for yourself.

I have the M2h... love it and have not found anyone that doesn't love the sound of my bike. I've rode with a couple of guys that have the Yosi Carbon Cone and they like my sound better.
Of course, we don't care whose opinion to go with here, but the point is... slipper obviously hates the 2bros and I love it. You need to hear it on your bike to know for sure. If you can, wait until you can hear it for yourself.
I do not believe my bike is at all loud at idle, but it is loud when you're a little over the speed limit. Very deep sound. You can buy inserts to tone it down if you need to for an extra $20.

Thanks for the replies guys - I appreciate it.
Another question - I was talking to a guy at Central Florida Motorsports in Kissimmee. Evidently they are a pretty big dealership. One thing the tech mentioned to me is that when I do go for a 2 Bros, Yosh, etc., I'll need a Power Commander for my RR. He said that all RR's run a little lean in stock form and that in order to prevent backfiring and popping I would need the PC. Is it time to fly the BS flag or was he on the mark?
